CNL Projects was hired by Stripe to curate and install artworks by local Chicago artists in their new offices.

uber freight Headquarters

CNL Projects was hired by architecture firm Gensler to curate and acquire artwork for Uber Freight’s new headquarters at the Old Post Office in Chicago. We sourced images from the Chicago Historical Society, the Chicago Tribune’s archives and the Library of Congress and installed over 80 photographic images and prints in the company’s beautiful, new offices. Final installation shots forthcoming.

“CNL Projects was hired by Gensler Chicago to curate and install over 70 artworks for UBER Friends. Artwork focused on Chicago history and the historical landmark of the Old Post Office, Uber Frieght's headquarters in Chicago.”

HILLEL NORTHWESTERN

CNL Projects was hired by Hillel Northwestern to design an art program for their new, contemporary building on Northwestern University’s campus. CNL worked closely with the Hillel team to consider the mission and vision of the organization and the people it serves to design a highly curated art program that best reflects the organization. We included artists Beth Adler, Carol Neiger, and Nancy Rosen. We also selected gorgeous natural plants to further enhance their working environment from local business Cultivate Urban Rainforest and Gallery.

KNOLL MARQUEE

CNL Projects was thrilled to serve as art consultant to Gensler and Knoll Inc. where we identified and worked with artist Ben Stagl of ChilLab Design to create artisanal interior details, including the Knoll marquee, for the new Knoll showroom at Fulton Market in Chicago.

EQ OFFICE ART COLLECTION

CNL Projects curated the EQ Office Art Collection, a permanent display in Willis Tower's new co-working space. Featuring more than 30 Chicago artists, the collection draws work from artists' studios, Spudnik Press, and Goldfinch Gallery. The work selected tells a diverse story about Chicago and the people who call the city home.

CNL Projects was hired by Catapult Marketing and PurePoint Financial, a hybrid digital bank and division of MUFG Union Bank, to help market an exhibition opportunity and call to artists for new bank branches in Houston, New York, and Chicago.

CNL Projects proudly designed and implemented the art program for Renelle on the River, a new condo and townhouse development by Belgravia Group in Chicago, IL.

HYATT HOTELS CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS CHICAGO

CNL Projects was hired by Hyatt Hotels Corporate Office to develop their art program including new acquisitions and works from their current collection. CNL also worked to select, identify and manage the commission of a heritage wall by artist Christophe Gausparro celebrating the company's history, legacy and vision for the future.

CNL Project researched, identified and managed an art installation for Wilson Sporting Goods new Chicago offices at the Prudential Building. CNL worked with Public Space artists/designers/architects Christophe Gausparro and Ken Ludeke.

CNL Projects researched, identified and managed the process of commissioning artist Ruben Aguirre to produce a mural based on LinkedIn's vision and mission for its new floor in its Chicago office.

TECH INCUBATOR 1871

CNL Projects, in collaboration with the Chicago Artists Coalition identified and presented three dynamic murals for the new tech incubator space at the merchandise mart. The artists selected for this commission were Ruben AguirreJustus Roe, and Chris Silva. The completed murals cover more than 180 feet of stationary walls located at the entry of this dynamic 50,000-square-foot, Gensler-designed space that opened in May 2012. Artwork by Justus Roe III.
